Prahova River

The Prahova River is a river of Southern Romania, which rises from the Bucegi Mountains, in the Southern Carpathians and flows into the Ialomiţa (near Adâncata). The upper reach of the river, upstream of the junction with the Azuga River is sometimes called the Prahovița River.
It has a length of , of which are in Braşov County, are in Prahova County and the last are in Ilfov county.
The basin of the Prahova covers , which is about 75% of the surface of Prahova county.
